After many years in marketing, advertising, and public relations, I stopped sublimating and returned to my first love, writing historical romance.  Now, my heroes and heroines grapple with work, love, and the meaning of life and always find the right answers.

My debut novel, The Knave and The Maiden, a was released by Harlequin Historicals in January 2004.  The manuscript, then titled “The Pilgrim and The Palmer,” was a Romance Writers of America Golden Heart finalist.  My newest book, The Harlot’s Daughter, will be out in October, 2007.  Inspired by a real person, the illegitimate daughter of an English king and his reviled mistress, it keeps me in the 14th century time period that I find so fascinating.

I also juggle marketing consulting and freelance writing careers.  Writer’s Digest and Novel Writer magazines have printed my articles and I’ve spoken on marketing and on writing at several regional and national conferences.

I feed my muse with art, music, history, long walks, good food and good friends.  I love Italian food, Japanese art, Brazilian music, and I read history for fun.

In my heart, I believe the answer to the mystery of life lies hidden in the yin/yang of female/male relationships.
