Blythe Gifford at the Mayan Ruins Blythe visits the Mayan ruins at Tulum on Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula as part of the wonderful Florida Romance Writer’s Muse Cruise in January of 2010.  A beautiful setting and very inspiring to the Muse!

 At the 2009 RWA Conference, Blythe congratulates Sarah Anderson on taking second place in the Single Title Contemporary category of the Chicago North Fire & Ice competition.  Book Club 2009 Blythe spent a wonderful evening with a Chicago-based book club that chose INNOCENCE UNVEILED as their monthly selection. It was the first romance ever chosen by the group. The annual gathering of The Hussies at the 2009 RWA Conference in Washington, D.C.  This wonderful group all started as Harlequin Historical authors and though some have moved on to other publishers, they continue to meet in cyberspace on a regular basis.  Among the group, Harlequin Historical authors:  Blythe Gifford, Elaine Knighton, and Julia Justiss.

 

Windy City members escaped the conference hotel to lunch at Open City restaurant where the charming waitress wielded the camera.
